President's Message

My Fellow Rotarians,

It is an honor and a privilege to serve as your President this Rotary year. As the President of this club, I hold the honored responsibility of carrying on the Rotarian tradition of service above self, integrity, fellowship, and leadership.

Our International President Ray Klinginsmith has selected "Building Communities, Bridging Continents" as our new theme. As leaders in our community, we need to focus our efforts during these tough economic times. As Rotarians we acknowledge that what affects one directly affects all indirectly. We will not sit idly by and watch the human condition deteriorate in the community or even a continent away. As your servant leader, I encourage you to give impetus and action to the Rotary motto: Service above self". I ask you, if Rotarians don't do it, who will? Accordingly, I have selected the club theme and motto, "Because it's the right thing to do" for our Rotary year.
