9th Annual Golf Tournament and Crab Feed

Todd Martin starts out the day for the club early, meeting the Crab delivery folks at 6:30am to receive the food. Now that's a dedicated Rotarian!
Gary Heffelfinger and Sam Romero, burn, er, cooks the burgers for the golfers.
One of the golfers tries his skills with the marshmallow long-drive contest.
Katie and Kaori work the root beer float truck. We must have given out 300 floats during lunch and throughout the tournament play.
Amy Shuklian is joined by 10 other lady crab eaters. Just look at 'em go. There was approximately 70 tables at the crab feed that looked just like this one.
And now we know who was really in charge, the money-man. Kevin Daniel worked behind the scenes throughout the entire event planning, at the registration booth for the golfers and at the crab feed and live auction. Now that's a Rotarian!
Terese Lane did a wonderful job as our Master of Ceremonies for the entire evening. Great job Terese!

VBR Meeting

Our incoming Japanese student, Kaori, quietly mocks her American "Dad", Mark Perry.

This was our first "social only" meeting. We did not have a speaker, but instead completed our regular club business and then hung out visiting. Guest, Emily Kneeland, gets a candid shot of some members laughing with President Dennis.

Phone-A-Thon

We had about 12 guys show up for the Phone-A-Thon to give our fundraiser a nice shot in the arm. Here's the action within the "Boiler Room" now. "The food is what really brought us in", explained Brian Rouch, "That and the wine!".

Here's our tally at the end of the night, $16,800!!! The best that we've ever done. Great job Phone-A-Thoners.
